BTE Oman has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Middle East Fiber Cable Manufacturing Co. (MEFC), marking the start of a strategic collaboration to advance data transmission solutions through fiber-optic technology.
This partnership underscores BTE’s commitment to strengthening its position in the region’s smart-infrastructure landscape and aligns with MEFC’s expertise in high-performance fiber-optic systems. Under the agreement, both parties will jointly explore and implement solutions designed to deliver increased capacity, reliability, and scalability in data-transmission networks.
“With this collaboration, we are bridging the gap between industry demands and future-ready connectivity,” said the CEO of BTE. The MoU reflects both companies’ dedication to driving digital transformation in Oman and across the Middle East by leveraging state-of-the-art fiber-optic infrastructure.
Through this agreement, BTE and MEFC aim to support sectors such as data centers, telco networks, and enterprise connectivity with innovative fibre-optic solutions that cater to varying bandwidth, latency, and security requirements.
